A: Our granite blades are specifically engineered for extreme hardness and abrasiveness. The key difference lies in the segment formulation. We use a higher concentration of premium-grade diamonds embedded in a tougher, more wear-resistant bond matrix. This ensures the blade wears at an optimal rate to continuously expose sharp diamonds for aggressive cutting, whereas a blade for marble would use a softer bond and would wear out too quickly when cutting granite.

A: The lifespan varies significantly based on factors like the specific granite hardness, the horsepower of the saw machine, operator skill, and cooling water quality. Therefore, we cannot provide a universal figure in hours. However, our blades are engineered for maximum longevity. The most accurate measure is ​​cost-per-cubic-meter cut​​. Our clients consistently report a significantly lower operating cost compared to standard blades due to our blades' superior durability and sustained cutting speed.

A: A continuous and high-volume water supply is non-negotiable for three critical reasons:

1.​​Cooling:​​ Prevents the diamond segments and steel core from overheating, which can cause warping, segment loss, or core damage. ​​

2.Slurry Removal:​​ Flushes away the abrasive granite dust created during cutting. If not removed, this slurry can clog the blade, leading to increased friction, slower cutting, and premature wear. ​​

3.Dust Suppression:​​ Effectively controls harmful silica dust, ensuring a safer working environment compliant with health regulations.

A: Warping is often caused by thermal stress and lateral pressure. Our blades prevent this through a ​​high-tensile, heat-treated steel core​​ that is specifically designed to resist flexing and fatigue under the extreme forces of granite quarrying. Combined with efficient water cooling (see Q3), this robust core maintains its structural integrity, ensuring straight, true cuts and a longer, more reliable service life.
