1. Preparations before installation

(1) The laying of the double-blade quarry cutting machine track requires the sleepers to be firm and flat to prevent the double-blade cutter from shaking during the cutting process. The parallelism tolerance of the double-blade cutter track should be ≤5mm and the horizontality tolerance should be ≤2mm.

(2) To ensure the flatness and strength of the Saw blade for granite quarry during the cutting process, the diameter of the flange used to clamp the saw blade is >300mm. The unevenness of the flange directly affects the end runout of the saw blade. Therefore, the user should check the accuracy of the flange before use. Generally, the unevenness of the Ф280mm flange is <0.05mm, and ensure that the flange is clean and no stone chips and dirt are left.

(3) Check the accuracy of the stone-cutting machine shaft frequently to ensure that the radial runout of its main shaft is ≤0.03mm to prevent the saw blade from shaking during the cutting process, affecting the service life of the Saw blade for granite quarry and the cutting quality of the material.

(4) The amount of cooling water directly affects the cooling effect of the saw blade, the chip removal capacity, and the cutting life of the cutter head. Therefore, it is recommended that the cooling water volume for Ф2200mm is ≥1001/min, and the cooling water volume for Ф3600 (or Ф3000) is ≥1601/min, and it should be fully injected into the cutting seam of the saw blade.

2. Standardization of use

Since super-large diamond mesh Saw blades for granite quarries are expensive, standardized use can greatly increase the service life of the product and reduce production costs. Therefore, standardized operation should be emphasized during the use of the product.

(1) The new saw blade base should be idle for more than 30 minutes before the first use so that the stress distribution of the saw blade base is more uniform through the centrifugal force during the first use.

(2) If conditions permit, enterprises should sharpen the new saw blade before using it. Otherwise, when the new segments is used, the cutting amount is required to be ≤15mm/time and the travel speed is ≤1000mm/min. The cutting amount can be increased only after the diamond in the segments is fully cut.
(3) During normal cutting, the feed amount should be reasonably determined according to the hardness of the cutting object. The Ф2200 Saw blade for granite quarry should be controlled within 30-50mm/time, and the Ф3600 saw blade should be controlled within 20-30mm/time. In order not to affect the cutting efficiency, the cutting process should be shallow feed and fast cutting as much as possible to reduce the deformation of the saw blade base caused by excessive normal force.

(4) In the cutting of mines, the number of teeth involved in the cutting of the saw blade increases greatly when cutting at both ends, so the resistance also increases accordingly. Therefore, the cutting method of inching reciprocating should be adopted when cutting, and the inching amount of each cutting should not exceed 2mm/time.

(5) During the use of the Saw blade for granite quarry, the cutting state and the change of the hardness of the cutting object should be strictly monitored. When the working surface is too protruding, the cutting depth and walking speed should be adjusted in time.
