Product Feature And Application
The segments is the part that cuts during use. The segments will be continuously consumed during use, but the matrix will not. The reason why the segments can play a cutting role is because it contains diamond, which is the hardest material. Substance, which rubs in the segments to cut the object to be processed. The diamond particles are wrapped in metal inside the segments.
The linear speed of a diamond circular saw blade is limited by equipment conditions, saw blade quality and the nature of the stone being cut. From the perspective of optimal saw blade service life and sawing efficiency, the linear speed of different saw blades should be selected according to different stone materials. When sawing granite, the linear speed of the saw blade can be selected in the range of 25m~35m/s. For granite with high quartz content that is difficult to saw, the linear speed of the saw blade should be lowered to the lower limit. When producing granite slabs, the diameter of the diamond circular saw blade used is small, and the linear speed can reach 35m/s.
When the diamond concentration changes from low to high, the sharpness and sawing efficiency of the saw blade gradually decrease, and the service life is gradually extended. However, if the concentration is too high, the saw blade will become dull. By using low concentrations, the efficiency is improved. Therefore, in the manufacturing process of diamond saw blades, the diamond concentration must be reasonably controlled according to different cutting objects and machines used, so that the diamond can be fully utilized during use.
