RSL-480 Hydraulic Stone Splitting Machine

For stone factories handling granite, marble and hard decorative blocks, primary dividing is often the stage that decides both yield and labor cost. The Ruisheng RSL-480 uses a 200-ton hydraulic system instead of abrasive sawing to separate blocks along a controlled line, which reduces diamond-blade consumption, controls dust, and keeps large-format pieces manageable for downstream edging, polishing or cubing.

Most splitting work in hardscape and cladding lines does not require a sawn face. Hydraulic splitting gives a consistent cleft or straight divided face with less secondary finishing, which is why the RSL-480 fits curbstone, paving, step, cladding and monument blank production as well as rough block preparation before thinner slab cutting.

Built for high-volume block dividing

The 11 kW drive works with the hydraulic power unit to deliver up to 200 tons of splitting force. With a stable 7 cm/s blade feeding speed, the machine maintains uniform pressure on hard stone without the speed drops and jamming common in manual dividing. Theoretical throughput reaches 25 m³ per hour, suitable for factories that need continuous daily output rather than occasional job-site cutting.

The 40 cm maximum working height and 80 cm maximum working width cover standard curbstone strips, step blanks, tombstone halves, wall-stone blocks and pre-sawn slabs. Single-pass dividing reduces repeated handling, while the roller worktable keeps loading, positioning and discharge straightforward for one operator.

Lower operating cost than saw-based rough cutting

Hydraulic splitting does not rely on diamond segments for primary separation. For rough dividing of granite and marble, this lowers recurring blade cost and reduces fine dust compared with grinding or high-speed sawing. The RSL-480 is therefore practical for factories that process offcuts into paving cubes or cladding pieces, since irregular stock can be returned to saleable format instead of becoming waste.

Controlled pressure also reduces edge chipping on sawn-face dividing and gives a repeatable natural face for landscape stone. For export orders with fixed dimensions, consistent split geometry decreases rework in the grinding and calibration stages.

Workshop-friendly operation and service

The electric control system supports start, stop, feed adjustment and emergency stop from a central panel. Hydraulic circuit design uses relief protection and standardized components to simplify seal and valve service. Recommended plant parameters for export quotation: 380 V / 50 Hz three-phase, 46# anti-wear hydraulic oil; final voltage and oil specification can be adapted to destination standards.

The heavy frame is built for low vibration under full load, which protects positioning accuracy during long shifts and reduces unexpected downtime in high-pressure operation.
